What is the Email integration?

The Email integration delivers Prizm alert notifications directly to individual or group email addresses. When an alert fires in Prizm, a formatted email is sent to the configured recipients including the asset name, metric, deviation value, priority, and a direct link back to the Prizm issue page so teams can triage issues without being in Prizm. Prizm connects to email providers using OAuth ,no SMTP passwords or app passwords are entered in Prizm. You authenticate directly on your provider’s sign-in page and Prizm receives a secure token to send on your behalf.

Using Email with Prizm

Once connected, Prizm can route all notifications to any email address. Recipients receive a formatted message with enough context to triage the issue without opening Prizm.
Use a shared distribution list (e.g., data-alerts@yourcompany.com) as the default email recipient for broad-coverage alerts, and reserve individual addresses for high-priority or asset-specific rules where a named owner needs to be directly notified.
