What is the Slack integration?

The Slack integration delivers Prizm alert notifications directly to Slack channels, giving data teams real-time visibility into data quality issues in the place where they already collaborate. When an alert fires in Prizm, a formatted message is posted to the configured channel — including asset name, metric, deviation, priority, and a direct link to the alert — so teams can triage and respond without switching tools. Prizm connects to Slack via OAuth — no webhook URLs or bot tokens need to be entered manually.

What this integration enables

Create a dedicated #data-quality-alerts channel as the default destination for all Prizm notifications, and use per-rule channel overrides for high-priority or team-specific assets. This gives your data platform team a single place to monitor all quality signals while keeping individual teams informed through their own channels.
