Daily Active Users KPI: Track DAU as a standalone business metric, monitored independently of any specific events table asset. Alerts when DAU drops more than 15% below the rolling 7-day average.

Cross-source revenue reconciliation: Compute the gap between the transactional warehouse and the reporting layer daily. Fires if the discrepancy exceeds 0.5% — a global check that does not belong to either source system individually.

Standalone Query metrics require at least one configured data source connection. They are designed for metrics that span multiple tables or have no natural home on a single asset page. For single-table checks, use a Query metric instead.
