The Report tab of the Observability Dashboard tracks the health of downstream BI content — reports, worksheets, and dashboards — including which ones are stale, at risk from upstream issues, or barely used. Navigate to Analytics → Observability (Data) → Report to access it.
This tab looks at BI objects (reports, worksheets, dashboards) rather than data assets directly. Use the Upstream Assets column on the Report health widget to trace a report back to the tables/views feeding it, and cross-reference the Data tab if an upstream asset looks unhealthy.

AI Summary

Same AI Summary component as the other Analytics tabs. In validation it sometimes continued to show a previous tab’s summary text immediately after switching — give it a moment to refresh, or rely on the tiles and widgets below if it looks out of date.

KPI cards

All three tiles animate with a count-up effect and can take several seconds to settle — in validation, At-Risk Reports read as low as 7 before settling at 30, and Avg. Active Viewers read as 0.049 before settling at 0.200. Read a tile only after two consecutive looks agree.

Widgets

Report health

A table of all reports/worksheets/dashboards in scope. Columns: Report, Type (Report / Worksheet / Dashboard), Last Refreshed, Status, Alerts (count of upstream alerts affecting this report), Upstream Assets (the data assets feeding it, via lineage).
Status can show as a dash (—) for every row when no distinct status values are populated for that report type/connector. Treat that as an unpopulated field rather than a sign every report is simultaneously at a particular status — check the At-Risk Reports KPI and the Alerts column instead for a reliable per-report signal.

Least-used reports

A table of reports ranked by lowest viewer activity. Columns: Report, Type, Viewers, Last Viewed. Use this to find BI content that may be a candidate for deprecation or that signals a broken/undiscoverable report rather than one that’s simply unpopular.

Filters

Same filter bar as the other Analytics dashboards: Domain, Application, Product, Tag, Source, Asset Type, Asset, Date Range, Slice By, Previous Period. See Catalog Dashboard for the full list of options and the general filtering mechanism, which is identical here.
Filter selections persist across page reloads and across navigating away and back, for as long as your session is active. Click Reset to confirm you’re looking at the true unfiltered baseline before drawing conclusions from the numbers.

Slice By

Like the Catalog Dashboard, this tab has no trend chart or heatmap widget. Based on that same pattern, Slice By is expected to have no visible effect here — there is nothing on this page for it to rebucket.
This dashboard’s Slice-By and filter behavior were not independently re-verified click-by-click during this validation pass — they follow directly from the pattern confirmed on the other Analytics dashboards. If you see different behavior in your environment, treat the live dashboard as the source of truth and let the docs team know via the feedback link so this page can be corrected.
